Course Description

The opioid epidemic has resulted in a record number of overdoses and deaths related to overdoses. One solution to an opioid overdose and prevention of death is the lifesaving medication Narcan®. Narcan saves lives if administered correctly and in a timely fashion. It is essential that each person who could be responsible for administering Narcan be trained in the use of the lifesaving medication.

It is important that each person who has Narcan available be trained in the administration of the medication. When seconds count, training can save lives. Knowing how and when to respond in an overdose situation can prevent a death. Train to save.

This course provides training and education regarding the proper use and indications for NARCAN nasal administration.
