Certification Description:
Course is designed for critical care nurses. RN license verification is required. Course is available for anyone who seeks the knowledge upon successful course completion contact hours are awarded; however, MICN Certification is only available for Registered Nurses with a valid nursing license.
Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals have placed emphasis on early recognition and response to changes or worsening of patient conditions in health care settings. This certification provides scenarios for recognition of emergencies within health care and hospital settings.
