Course Description:
The First Aid Certification listed in this course meets and exceeds the guidelines for First Aid. This course is available for anyone seeking First Aid and basic principles of first aid and emergency care.
Components include the following:
- American Heart Association Guidelines for Heartsaver First Aid
- Includes standards incorporated by the American Red Cross First Aid Course
- Recommendations, guidelines and standards for basic emergency management
- 4.0 continuing education contact hours
- Certificate of course completion available immediately upon successful completion
- Wallet card available for print with successful course completion
- Renewal every 2 years
- Testing is confidential, repeating the exam at no additional cost until successful completion is obtained
- Each question contains an Education/training module, images and evaluation with remediation for incorrect response
- Student/participant training records are maintained confidentially and securely through a gradebook
- 110 questions; passing score of 85% required.
