2022 Triage Competency and Certification
Course Description:
Triage Basic Certification is designed for all health care providers.
This course introduces the basic principles of triage and the sorting or classification of medical conditions, injury and illness. Videos in this course present fundamentals of triage and considerations at triage as it applies in a variety of settings from pre-hospital to emergency departments.
The course also expands the knowledge base to hospital emergency department triage, including the use of Emergency Severity Index (ESI) classifications as recommended by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA).
The course is open for all health care providers, including students.
